A deposit of £25 per person for groups less than 10 and for groups over 10 we require a £200.00 both are payable when booking a Stag & Hen Party package. Full payment must accompany bookings made within 5 weeks of the break's start. You will be advised where an activity requires a non-refundable payment.
- On receipt of your deposit, your break will be confirmed in the form of an acknowledgement letter stating how much you have paid and when any balance is due.
- On receipt of full payment your itinerary will be sent to you. Please check this carefully. If you have any queries you must contact us straight away.
We regret that we cannot accept any liability if we are not notified of inaccuracies in any documentation within 7 days of receipt.
Final Payment
Any balance on your account is payable no later than 5 weeks before your break starts. Please note that we do not send reminders. If full payment is not made by the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and you will be liable for a Cancellation Charge (see below). Cheques should be made payable to Designaventure Ltd. Alternatively you may choose to pay by credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express, Solo, Switch, Delta).

All cancellations must be received in writing immediately. Cancellation charges are as follows, percentages referring to the total break price:

Providers' Terms and Activity Availability
Those using the facilities of our providers automatically agree to be bound by their conditions, for example regarding safety and cancellations. Activities may be cancelled due to weather conditions, which could affect clients' safety. Please note: We cannot be held liable for your travel costs incurred when suppliers cancel activities at short notice.
Changes by Us
Edinburgh Weekends reserve the right to make alterations to activities or accommodation at any time where necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. We undertake to make every effort to inform you of any such changes as soon as possible. Should a substitution be made of lower value, you will be entitled to compensation up to the net value of the portion of the activity you missed.
Health and Safety
We endeavour to work only with reliable third party operators, who manage their activities to the highest safety standards. Many of our activities have age, height, weight or other special restrictions. These may be detailed on the website but, if in doubt, please check with our staff before booking. Additionally, where an activity includes an element of personal risk, suppliers may require participants to sign disclaimers before taking part.
Edinburgh weekends must be informed at the time of booking of any dietary requirements or medical conditions, which will then be passed onto the accommodation or activity provider in order that everyone’s requirements are met
Provider and Personal Property
You are responsible for any damage you cause to the accommodation or other property of our providers. Some providers may require a bond or deposit. You personal property is your own responsibility at all times.
Insurance
You must provide your own activity travel insurance for each break booked with us. Ensure you have check with your insurance provider that you are covered to take part in the activities you have booked
Your Feedback
Providers appreciate feedback - good or bad. If you feel you have any cause for complaint during your break, you must raise it, at the time, with the provider (or us, if available). If a difficulty could be resolved 'on the spot', it is not generally considered reasonable to seek redress from us at a later date. If problems cannot be resolved there and then, notify us in writing within 14 days; we will do our best to reply to your letter within the next 10 days. Failure to follow this procedure excludes us from any liability. We too value your feedback on what we do and the breaks we offer. Please 'phone, fax, e-mail or write, letting us know how it went!
Stag & Hen Party Activities and Prices
Our website’s descriptions and illustrations reflect our understanding of each activity we offer and are given in good faith. However, we reserve the right to vary prices without notice. However the price will not be changed less than 28 days before the event. All prices include VAT at the current rate.
Your Security
As in accordance with the 1992 Package Holiday and tours regulation all paid monies by you are secured by being deposited in a trust account until after your break takes place.
Finally
We think that the above terms and conditions are fair. They are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you wish to book by telephone or in writing it is understood that you have read and accept Edinburgh Weekends is a division of the Designaventure Ltd Group Terms & Conditions.
